Cllr Keith Scargill spent 28 years in the Merchant Navy as a Radio Electronics Officer then spent next 20 years working ashore in the Marine Electronics Industry retiring in 2007 to Chester where his wife originated from. Married for 53 years, recently widowed, with 3 grown up children, Keith became a Great Boughton councillor in 2011 and believes in trying to improve the local area.
