Great Boughton Council are hosting an Apple Pressing Day on Saturday, 28th September.
After a hugely successful first session at Thackeray Drive Field on August 30th, we are delighted to announce the next Apple Pressing day on 28th September at Caldy Valley Neighbourhood Centre, 10.30-11.30am.
All are welcome to come and all are welcome to visit the Jubilee Orchard on Thackery Field to pick your own fruit!
We will be hosting anther apple pressing event this Autumn:
- 18th October, 10am – Noon at Thackeray Drive Field and then moving to Caldy Valley Neighbourhood Centre between 1.30pm and 3.30pm
Bring your apples and pears to be turned into fresh fruit juice using an apple press.
Please bring a suitable clean container like a plastic milk bottle to capture your delicious juice.
This first event will be on the Jubilee Orchard, on Thackeray Drive Field, alongside the Vicars Cross Community Centre.
This is a free event and all are welcome with their fresh fruit.
