The Great Boughton Parish Plan 2014 describes the area, includes views from local residents and provides a framework for planning how to improve the area that we are all so proud of. The full report can be found within our documents section, within the Reports, Statements and Notices subset.
In 2018, a Local Governance Review was conducted by Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council which meant that the area of Vicars Cross including Kirkwood Close, Cawdor Drive and Tweedsmiur Retirement Complex was included within the geographical boundaries of the parish. You can see an larger version of our updated map of the area within our documents section, within the Reports, Statements and Notices subset.
This area will now, of course, be included in all the parish council’s plan, although the play area is currently still under the ownership and management of Cheshire West and Chester Council.
