Warning about website parish.uk

We want to raise awareness that there is a website at parish.uk which displays information about English Parishes, asks residents to subscribe and encourages businesses to pay to be on their business directory.

This website has been reported for potential phishing as it presents itself as a safe source having copied the Government website format but actually has no links to the Government or to Great Boughton Parish Council. The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) recommends that councils do not submit any information to them & we recommend that residents and businesses do not engage either.
